Five Club Challenge
February 11, 2017
Sunnyvale Golf Course

The pros at the three courses that make up the AT&T Pro-Am played preferred lies all week. Our players did the same at Sunnyvale for the Five Club Challenge but it didn't seem to help much. With the rain letting up late Thursday afternoon, there just wasn't enough time to cut the fairways before we teed off on Saturday. Throw in the limit of five clubs in the bag and result was that only three players broke net par 70 in the sloppy conditions.

In the Furious Five Flight, Brad Miller took the top spot with a 68 followed closely by Jim Cowie at 69. Luis Morejon came in third with a 72 while William Wei took fourth at 73.

Trevor Heathorn came out on top in the Five Easy Pieces Flight with a 68 with Roger Kalemba finishing second at 70. Third place was a tie at 72 between Ray Coler and John Binns.
