Baylands Scramble Plus Four Ball
December 8, 2018

On a bright and sunny Saturday, 24 two player teams showed up to compete in a unique format. The front nine was played as a scramble where each player hits a tee shot and then the team picks the best shot to play. This procedure continues with each shot until the hole is completed. The one wrinkle is that the team must select at lease three tee shots from each player. The back nine was played as a regular four ball competition where the better score of the two is recorded as the one that counts.

In the First Flight the team of Ray Coler and Buzz Ogren shot a 65 to take the top spot. They were followed closely by the team of Andrew Clauson and John McGuire who shot a 66. Third place was a three way tie at 67 between the teams noted in the grid below. Top honors in the Second Flight went to the team Ross Erickson and Roger Kalemba who shot a remarkable 62. Three teams tied for second at 65 and are noted in the score grid at the bottom of the page.

Thanks to all of you who came out on this mavelous day and congratulations to the winners.
