The NCGA Net Amateur Qualifier is held each year to determine the four players who will move on to the next round of qualifying held between September 17 and 25. Those who qualify in this second round earn a spot in the NCGA championship on October 14 and 15 at Poppy Ridge.
The top four qualifiers were Dave Bridgman, Chuck Crain, Buzz Ogren, and Aian Ofreneo. The results page will show Thomas Barreira as the lowest qualifier, however he opted out of continuing in the competition. The two amazing shots of the day included Crain's double eagle 2 on the eighteenth when he holed a 3 hybrid from 195 yards, and Barreira's ace on 15 which, fortunaley for him, happened in the last group of the day thus keeping the bar tab at a reasonable number.
Congratulations to the winners - John Frykland, Webmaster and low net in the Second Flight
