Santa Teresa ILN
April 20, 2019

The club returned to Santa Teresa in south San Jose following an absense of several years. The day was cool and partly cloudy with the wind coming in gusts strong enough to turn a good shot into one that wasn't so good. The tournament was divided into three flights with low gross and low net prizes for those who played well enough.

The First Flight played from the blue tees at length of 6060 yards. Dave Bridgman took low gross with an 80 while Buzz Ogren captured low net at 6-under 65.

In the Second Flight, low gross went to Jack Simpson with an 81 while Andy Dipaolo took low net with an 85. TOC points leader Roger Kalemba took second low net with a 67 to move ahead of his nearest competitor by 68 points.

Third Flight winners included Ed Barkley who shot an 89 to take low gross. Club President Trevor Heathorn captured the low net prize in a card playoff with Ken Arends when both players shot 67.

Congratulations to the winners - John Frykland, Webmaster
