Bayonet is one of the toughest and most beautiful challenges in all of Northern California. The course is certain to provide both challenges and inspiration to golfers from the expanded views of Monterey Bay.
For the golf tech savants, the new Bayonet is comprised of new tees, fairways, greens, and bunkering on each hole. With the Kikuyu and poa annua eradication throughout the course, all of the new turf is Jacklin T1 Bentgrass, a type that is superior in density and performance that will allow not only for better roll, but will harmonize with the state-of-the-industry drainage and irrigation systems installed on all 36 holes at Black Horse and Bayonet (THINK = DRIER CONDITIONS DURING RAINY SEASON).

Tournament Summary Results:
Flight #1:
1 - Anders Dibiccari, Net 67 >> After a 5-over front 9 gross, Anders goes on the attack with a birdie-birdie to start the back 9 then another back-to-back birdie pops plus adds a birdie on a par 3 for a minus 5 after five holes! That's a winning formula through and through. Plus, as aforementioned, 6 of the 9 back nine holes teed off from the black tee box. Great round and congrats, Anders!
2 - Franco Montes, Net 70
3 - Kyle Fitzsimmons, Net 74
4 - Neil Summers, Net 75
T5 - Brian Garcia & Nick Kendall, Net 76
Flight #2:
1 - Dave Sheaffer, Net 68 >> Remember when being that guy to open up your email from one of the hundreds of emails from PAGC but this one offering 1 last open spot for the tourney? Well, Dave signed up and wins Flight #2 by 4 strokes! I guess he was ready to play.
2 - Jordan Rowley, Net 72
T3 - Nick Williams & John Driver, Net 73
T5 - Iain Farquharson & Abraham Hull, Net 74
Flight #3:
1 - Prabhat Behera, Net 71 >> This 3rd flight was the most tightly contested flight of the tourney. Prabhat needed all 18 of his pops to pull it off as signs of wobbly wheels started to show with a triple on the par 4 #17 and double on #18. But way to hold off the field and hang on for the win, Prabhat.
2 - William Wei, Net 73
T3 - Randy Shirbroun, Buzz Ogren & Eddy Manit, Net 76
Flight #4:
1 - Sahil Mansuri, Net 68 >> Not a stranger in the winners' circle, Sahil takes down the field again! Winning 5 of his last 6 events, Sahil is a force to be reckoned with in 2024 and just plays with utter confidence. Flight 4 better watch out. or perhaps, flight 3?
2 - Chuck Pickett, Net 71
3 - William Yang, Net 75
T4 - Tom Michalak, Ron Reedy, Ken Peacock, Net 77
CTP: There was only 2 names scribbled on the CTP markers! Neil Summers tee'd it up in the first group and set the pace for the field in CTP (he was really gunning for the 2-for-2 CTP win). He added his name on #6 with 6'9" only to be bested by Abraham Hull two groups later with a shot of 2'9". And on #17, Neil got close again with 5'9' and no more names were added to the marker for the tricky downhill, picturesque par 3. Congrats Neil and Abraham!
Hole #6 Winner: Abraham Hull, 2'9"
Hole #17 Winner: Neil Summers, 5'9"
