We were able to get our second tournament of the 2022 season under good weather before another atmospheric river ran over the Bay Area. The format was 6/6/6. Six holes played as a Scramble, sixes holes with Alternate Shots, and the final six holes via Best Ball. 72 players in total, paired up and split across 3 Flights.
In Flight 1, Sean & Steven Guzman narrowly beat the competition with a spectacular round of 66 (-6) to earn themselves a share of $100 and 76 TOC points. Andrew Clauson + Brede Kolsrud earned themselves 62 TOC points and 2nd place with their round of 67 (-5). 3rd place was a 3-way tie between Ben Beiers + Shai Mohan, John Driver + Nicholas Kendall, and Richard Greene + Keith Shiver as they all posted a round of 68 (-4).
Tim Schleiger + Christopher Walker earned 1st place in Flight 2 with their round of 63 (-9). 2nd place goes to Mark Heucke + Brad Martin with their round of 64 (-8). Douglas Marinkovich + Nick Williams earned their way to 3rd place and grabbed $50 and 50 TOC points with a round of 66 (-6).
In Flight 3, 1st place was decided by a tie-breaker with Jeffery Lu + Andy Tran edging off the competition and earning $100 and 76 TOC points. 2nd Place was a tie between Ken Arends + Chin Chai and Christopher Dierkes + Trevor Heathorn as they both finished the day at 70 (-2).
