Drive on down to beautiful Monterey, Poppy Hills welcomes you to put the busy world behind you and surround yourself in nature. Each uniquely crafted hole is chiseled through the towering Monterey Pines of the Del Monte Forest, offering sneak peaks of the beautiful and iconic Monterey Bay and a chance to watch playful young deer among the freshly sprung California Poppy. It’s is a beautiful, lush, hilly course with a lot of quirk and intrigue.
Format: This will be a Maximum Score event which means the most you can take is a Net Double Bogey (Once you reach a net Double Bogey please pick up your ball and head to the next hole. There will be no Low Gross in this format.). BUT THERE'S A TWIST! This tourney will be a Team event in which it will be a 2-Man Net Aggregate. It's simple as it sounds: Each individual on a 2-man team will receive their respective handicap and after each hole, their team score is the aggregate of player 1's net score PLUS player 2's net score (opposite of Best Ball where you "ham & egg" it for 18 holes).
